How to distinguish the chain of transmission and shaft drive ATV

What is the difference chain transmission and shaft drive? What are their advantages and disadvantages?

 

 

       ①, the chain of transmission - is the engine power transmission chain,

 

           Relative advantages: speed highway driving fast, simple maintenance,

 

           Relative disadvantage: there is no shaft drive torque off-road large; the poor quality of the chain easily stretched, and often off the chain.

 

       ②, shaft drive - is the way engine power transmission shaft,

 

           Relative advantage: the tire get more torque, low failure.

 

           Relative disadvantage: the price a little expensive, a little maintenance problems.
